Charitable Gifts
We’re So Honored!
The long and distinguished history of Ingersoll Place began with an act of charity by George T. Ingersoll who, in 1913, established a trust fund to ensure the wellbeing of his brother Jacob. He stipulated that if sufficient funds remained after his brother’s death, they be used to establish a home for aged men in memory of his parents Hiram and Eva Ingersoll.
That benevolent purpose lives on at Ingersoll Place, a local, not-for-profit organization that provides residential care for older adults who are unable to remain in their own homes due to physical limitations or mild to moderate cognitive impairment.
How You Can Help
Charitable gifts from individuals and businesses help support activities, services and programs that directly benefit the residents of Ingersoll Place.
A gift made in memory of a loved one or in tribute to Ingersoll’s staff – or other important people and events in your life – is a meaningful way to express appreciation or commemorate a special occasion. Timely and personal acknowledgement of each gift is made to both the donor and the honoree or his/her family.
